2008 Hainfeld Letten Spätburgunder trocken Georg No. VI, Pfalz, Germany

Somewhat marmalade-like and clearly woody nose of red berries with peanut tones and vegetal aromas. A lot of wood also in the mouth, soft, somewhat compote fruit, partly friable, partly woody-drying tannin, noticeable alcohol, also on the palate the somewhat brittle wood dominates, vegetal notes in the background, quite good, only uselessly woody finish.
