2012 Villány-Siklós Bock Cuvée, DHC Villány Premium, Südliches Transdanubien, Hungary

Earthy nose with dried vegetal and light animal notes, black berries, meaty notes, slightly sharp alcoholic notes. Firm and very full-bodied on the palate, ripe, partly dried and preserved fruit, some bitter oak, earthy and dried vegetal aromas, hint of tobacco and dried flowers, fairly prominent tannins, intitially slightly brittle, but becomes much more harmonious with aeration, good substance and persistence, also has high alcohol, slightly rustic style, some depth and complexity, herbaceous traces, touch of cocoa and cardamom, salty notes in the background, very good alcoholic background with increasingly juicy fruit. At this stage definitely requires aeration.
