2019 Schliengen Chasselas VDP.Ortswein trocken "Le Clocher", Baden, Germany

Nutty, delicately spicy pome fruit scent with floral and chalky traces. Fine, tightly knit, rather cool fruit, very fine, quite lively acidity, clearly nutty and also yeasty tones, has grip, lasting on the palate, smoky and very delicate tobacco flavours, clear, rather light, chalky-salty minerality, sweet melting, but also a lot of grip and tart spiciness, a little soup herb, bacony hints, good depth, still young, medium power, a hint of nut butter, very good firm finish, again with grip, wood nuances and cool, light minerality.
