2021 Siefersheim Heerkretz Riesling Grosses Gewächs, Rheinhessen, Germany

Firm and quite deep, somewhat herbal as well as delicately smoky and nutty citrus-stone fruit scent with yeasty tones and partly dark minerality. Ripe, juicy, not completely dry fruit with tart nutty, yeasty and dried planty to tobacco aromas, slightly smoky, lively acidity and grip of crumbly tannin, lasting, good depth, white-peppery nuances in the background, a trace of dark fruit, hints of tobacco, spice reminiscent of cardamom, very good, quite firm, grippy finish with ethereal traces.
