2020 St. Laurent VDP.Gutswein trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Tart, very slightly smoky nose with quite dark fruit notes and a little barrel wood as well as dried floral and ethereal traces. Slightly warm fruit, partly preserved, some toasty and slightly chocolaty wood, crumbly-sandy tannin, some persistence, ethereal spiciness, good, slightly warm, again partly chocolaty finish.
