2019 Pinot Noir trocken Réserve, Rheinhessen, Germany

Firm and quite deep, a hint ethereal aroma of ripe black berries with a hint of cherries, bacony aromas, some tobacco, cinnamon, bay leaf, mustard seed, some meat and juniper as well as a hint of beetroot and egg white. Ripe, firm and precise, partly preserved dark fruit with dark chocolaty and also coffee spicy aromas, fine sandy, present, yet friable tannin, persistent and powerful on the palate, smoky notes, dark ethereal spice, earthy and salty notes, persistent, very good, firm finish with fresh dark juice and again ethereal spice.
