2019 Bingen Scharlachberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs, Rheinhessen, Germany

Noticeably vegetable, still slightly reductive and a touch sulphurous nose with rather warm yellow fruity, a little yellow-spicy and tobacco notes, dry herbs and a hint of pepper. Ripe, juicy, slightly warm yellow fruit with yellow spice, grip and lively acidity, sweet melting on the palate, chalky and salty tones, clearly vegetal notes, good substance and persistence, still rather closed and still a little angular, good depth, rather firm construction, tobacco nuances, very good, juicy and grippy finish
