2018 Sauvignon Blanc trocken Réserve, Rheinhessen, Germany

Quite fresh, clear, slightly woody and floral, also herbal and a little herbaceous nose with rather bright yellow fruity aromas, a touch of gooseberries, hints of white pepper and minerality. Firmly woven, quite juicy and fresh, rather tart fruit, nutty wood spice, yeast notes and clearly herbal tones, relatively lively acidity, grip of ripe tannin, a little vanilla and smoke, good substance and persistence, red berry nuances, very good finish with a lot of grip and still a little drying tannin
