2017 Gau-Algesheim Spätburgunder VDP.Aus Ersten Lagen trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Clear, quite firm, somewhat polished aroma of red and a little black berries with cherry aromas, some minerality and moderate, smoky wood notes. Tight, juicy, youthful fruit, lively, fine sandy tannin and some bite, persistent on the palate, smoky and slightly spicy, still young, mineral in the background, peppery and herbal tones, very good, tight, tart-juicy finish
