2018 Thüngersheim Johannisberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken "Rothlauf", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Slightly planty to slightly herbaceous citrus scent with pome and stone fruit aromas and a hint of bamboo shoots. Sweetish fruit with clear, tart, somewhat rough phenolic, quite lively acidity, nutty and dried vegetable tones on the palate, earthy to mineral notes, some melt and warmth, not too deep, floral traces, good to very good finish
