2017 Thüngersheim Johannisberg Silvaner Grosses Gewächs trocken "Rothlauf", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear planty and slightly floral nose with light yellow fruity and very slightly mushy notes. Rather cool fruit, clearly planty aromas, relatively present acidity and also carbonation, some grip, good sustainability, mineral notes, citrus tones in the background, good to very good finish with a noticeable acid bite. Does not quite reach its early form at the moment

Editor note: Fairly shy nose, vegetal and light floral notes, earthy and mineral notes, delicate nutty and ethereal notes, restrained yellow fruit aromas. More restrained fruit on the palate, partly candied, vegetal and light nutty notes, yeasty and floral traces, elegant, fairly lively acidity, some grip, good substance and persistence, prominent chalky and salty mineral notes, some depth, vibrant, still young, firm grip, some elegant spice on a very good, firm, juicy finish.
