The winery is located in the municipality of Flomborn ( Nierstein area) in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. It was founded in 1987. Various guest rooms are available for wine tastings, wine seminars or business and private celebrations. The cross-vaulted cellar houses the wine presentation and sales room. A guest house is attached. The family business is run by Ulla Bernhard-Räder (kitchen, office, indoor and outdoor marketing, sales) and Rüdiger Räder (vineyards, farm garden, wine tours), as well as son Philipp Räder (cellar technology) with wife Alexandra.
The vineyards cover 16 hectares of vineyards in the single vineyards Feuerberg and Goldberg (Flomborn), Blücherpfad and Morhohl (Flörsheim), Altenberg and Sonnheil (Hillesheim), as well as Morstein (Westhofen), They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Scheurebe, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Bl anc, Ortega, Silvaner and Cabernet Bl anc, as well as the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Blauer Portugieser, St. Laurent and Regent. The wines are produced and vinified according to the company motto: "Preserve the old and open up to the new". The quality pyramid comprises the levels of site wines (from the best sites with terroir character, yield-reduced, selective hand harvesting), local wines (middle segment), estate wines (cuvées with residual sweetness) and litre wines. In years with suitable weather conditions, ice wines are also produced. The product range also includes bottle-fermented sparkling wines, secco (sparkling wines), mulled wines, fine spirits (yeast, marc) and liqueurs (grape, vineyard peach).
