2020 Malterdingen VDP.Ortswein, Baden, Germany

Fine-vegetable, somewhat yeasty and implied buttery scent with restrained yellow-fruity aromas as well as floral and nutty traces and a little verbena. Quite firmly woven, youthful, undeveloped fruit, vegetal, slightly nutty and hints of smoky notes, lively acidity, some grip, good persistence, still a touch reductive, salt in the background, very good, quite tight finish with bite.
