1999 Spätburgunder trocken Reserve, Baden, Germany

Rich aroma of cherries, black berries and plums with prominent, roasted woody notes. Very wel-knitted and juicy fruit with much dry spice of roasted wood, powerful body, perceptible alcohol, delicately dusty and slightly drying tannin, a lot of structure on the palate, lasting but still little developed, long and still slightly drying finish. Needs to mature and can still improve.
