2022 Lemberger trocken *Steillage*, Württemberg, Germany

Clear, youthful nose dominated by dark berries and cherries with hints of herbs, lavender, suggested tobacco, bay leaf, pepper, and floral nuances. Quite juicy, bitter, still undeveloped, relatively fresh-tasting fruit, a bit of bitter, smoky-roasted wood, present, slightly sandy tannins, certain sustainability, noticeable alcohol, dried-plant to tobacco nuances, also a hint of ash, earthy and peppery tones, good to very good, still a bit wood-influenced and alcohol-warm finish.
