Clear, well-polished scent of ripe black and a little red berries with cherry nuances, tobacco, a bit of roasting, pepper, wild herbs, and a hint of tar. Bitter, relatively cool fruit, smoky, slightly nutty and tobacco-like wood aromas with ashy undertones, relatively fine yet present and slightly drying tannins, earthy notes in the background, pepper and a bit of dried herbs, again also tar, coffee-spiced wood, a bit of salt in the background, a trace of licorice, still undeveloped, very good, quite firm, slightly bitter finish.
