2019 Sauvignon Blanc trocken "Fumé Blanc", Württemberg, Germany

Quite firm, very tart, emphatically herbal aroma with distinct fennel and root vegetables, yellow fruity aromas, a little yellow spice, bacon and mushrooms. Ripe, juicy, somewhat sweet fruit with yellow spice, light, somewhat smoky to bacony wood notes and distinctly herbal to planty tones, persistent and grippy on the palate, fine, quite lively acidity, has power, fennel and elder in the background, mineral hints, light tannin, still a touch of carbonic acid, very good finish with tobacco and spicy traces.
