2019 Großheppach Wanne Syrah trocken "SL Klingenberg", Württemberg, Germany

Youthful, firm and quite deep, lively aroma of ripe cherries and a little mixed berries with herbal and delicately floral aromas, a little Mediterranean herbs and some pepper and juniper in the background. Tight, juicy, tart fruit with smoky, bacony and peppery-spicy flavours, clearly dried herbs on the palate, present, youthful tannin and noticeable acid bite, toasty wood notes, a little tobacco, lots of power, some depth, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish.
