2016 Großheppach Wanne Lemberger trocken "SL", Württemberg, Germany

Clear, quite polished fragrance of red and black berries and preserved cherries with a delicately sweet, well-integrated wood spice, fine herbal nuances, pomegranate, a hint of bacon and floral and spicy notes. Firm, ripe, quite juicy fruit, clearly spicy wood aromas, some roast and smoke, dried herbal and peppery nuances, persistent on the palate, has power, but also life and certain freshness, good depth, floral tones again, very good, quite firm, juicy and spicy finish
