Quite firm, a touch juniper-like aroma of ripe black berries and cherries with distinct herbal notes. Clear, ripe, tangy dark fruit, relatively present, fine sandy tannin, a little smoke in the background, again clearly herbal aromas, some bite, good substance and persistence, has some freshness, juniper-ethereal spice, a little salt in the background, very good, quite firm finish with tart dark juice and bite.

Best to drink: 2023-2028+. What our ratings mean
