2016 Shiraz trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Astringent, slightly smokier, dried vegetal and a hint of mushroom, mainly black berries and a little cherry with nutty and earthy notes. Ripe dark fruit with slightly toasty and again nutty wood spice, some cocoa and coffee, crumbly-sandy tannin, good persistence, delicate acid bite, has with all its strength also cooling elements, salty notes, very good, firm, tangy-juicy and smoky-roasted finish with dried-herbal and peppery hints
