2015 Burkheim Feuerberg Spätburgunder trocken Erste Lage, Baden, Germany

Some depth on the nose, white oak, yeasty and peppery notes, red berries, touch of citrus and nectarines, earthy traces. Polished, juicy fruit on the palate, bitter almonds, partly dried citrus zests, some pine needles, moderate spicy oak, prominent yeasty aromas, earthy and mineral notes in the backgorund, lively acidity, fine sandy tannins provide grip, persistent, still undeveloped, hint of tobacco, juicy and gripping on a very good finish. Very well made.
