2013 Sasbach Limburg Spätburgunder trocken Erste Lage, Baden, Germany

Firm nose, herbaceous notes, light nutty and toasted notes, predominantly red berries, dried floral and light herbaceous notes, hint of bacon, light mineral notes. Firm tart, juicy fruit on the palate, still undeveloped, nutty, lightly toasted oak, fairly prominent tannins, still slightly astringent, medium body, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, good grip, nutty notes, hint of coca, light salty notes in the background, hint of bacon, very good finish. Needs time to mature.
