Editor note: Fairly fresh nose, yeasty and elegant vegetal and herbaceous notes, some yellow spice, curcuma and saffron, yellow fruit, floral and mineral notes. Ripe, elegant, juicy fruit on the palate, very elegant vegetal notes, delicate hint of almonds, very elegant acidity, polished and tranquil, fairly prominent and very fine tannins, fairly complex, light-footed style, curcuma in the background, salty traces, very good spicy finish.
Best to drink: To 2019+

Germany, or rather the area that belongs to it today, has a wine culture that is over two thousand years old. But imported wine was already being drunk before that, as evidenced by a Greek wine bottle made of clay dating from around 400 BC found in a Celtic tomb.
