2016 Riesling Auslese Gutswein, Rheingau, Germany

Cool, restrained, clearly vegetal citrus nose with a slightly sour apple. Light-bodied, cool, very sweet fruit with lively acidity, more vegetal and herbaceous notes, floral traces and green apple on the palate, light tannic touch, not particularly deep, but clear and pleasant, candied stone fruit in the background, quite a good finish with citrus notes.
