2016 Erbach Steinmorgen Riesling trocken Erste Lage, Rheingau, Germany

Clear nose, elegant herbaceous and light yeasty notes, citrus and stone fruit, spicy mineral notes, hint of dark berries, floral traces. Firm, youthful, basically dry fruit on the palate, elegant, lively acidity, earthy and mineral notes, still very slightly muted, yeasty notes, integrated sandy tannins, good substance and persistence, some depth, salt in the background, hint of tobacco, fairly prominent mineral notes on a very good elegant, juicy finish. Needs time to mature.
