2010 Erbach Michelmark Riesling Erstes Gewächs, Rheingau, Germany

Fairly open nose, dried vegetal notes, light yellow spice, ripe, partly candied citrus and some stone fruit, floral and light earthy notes. Slightly sweetish, partly dried fruit on the palate, more yellow spice, very prominent acidity, persistent, good substance, firm bite, noticeable tannic grip, salty mineral notes, hint of tobacco in the background, some root vegetables, very good, fairly juicy finish with prominent acidity.
