2009 Erbach Steinmorgen Riesling Erstes Gewächs, Rheingau, Germany

Fairly sweet nose, light floral and vegetal notes, candied and preserved yellow fruit, herbaceous and very slightly perfumed notes. More tart on the palate than the nose would lead one to expect, slightly muted, vegetal notes, lemony acidity, tart earthy and mineral notes, slightly muted by tannins, acidity still slightly apart from the wine, phenolic notes, slightly astringent, more noticeable lemony acidity on a good finish.
