2017 Hattenheim Engelmannsberg Riesling trocken VDP.Erste Lage, Rheingau, Germany

Tart, firm nose, still slightly reductive, prominent vegetal and mineral notes, restrained yellow fruit and earthy notes, hint of mushrooms. clear, tart, polished, elegant, juicy fruit on the palate, firm structure, lively acidity, fresh vegetal and herbaceous notes, noticeable salty notes in the background, some grip, still young and very slightly rough, yeasty traces, becomes much more polished with aeration, hint of darek berries, good depth, very good firm, tart, juicy finish.
