2016 Pinot Noir trocken VDP.Gutswein, "Von Unserm", Rheingau, Germany

light nutty and earthy notes on the nose, hint of bacon and tobacco, ripe red and a few black berries, moderate oak, touch of root vegetables, peppery traces. Fairly juicy fruit on the palate, dried vegetal and earthy notes, hint of tobacco, light oak in the background, elegant, lively acidity, youthful but fairly well integrated tannins, herbaceous and salty notes in the background, prominent thyme, some bite and grip, as well as some depth, fairly prominent mineral notes, very good tart, juicy finish.
