2013 Riesling Landwein trocken >>32<<, Rheingau, Germany

Slightly warm, fairly yeasty nose, prominent vegetal notes with an initial hint of cabbage, light nutty notes, restrained yellow fruit, hint of butter and earthy notes, floral traces, mineral notes, hint of red berries. Bone dry, restrained juicy fruit on the palate, prominent yeasty notes, light nutty notes, prominent vegetal aromas, fairly prominent elegant acidity, prominent integrated tannins, persistence, good substance and grip, hint of tobacco, smoky traces, prominent mineral notes, still very younf und undeveloped, spicy traces, good depth, peppery spice, very good, tart, gripping finish. Very unusual, practically no fruit, needs time to develop.
