Clear, quite polished, almost cool pome fruit nose with citrus aromas, some root vegetables and artichokes as well as notes reminiscent of mushrooms, egg whites and also a little oriental spices. Bright, ripe quite juicy fruit with nutty and moderately woody flavours, again mushrooms, smoked celery and a little artichoke, fine acidity, grip of crumbly tannin, persistent on the palate, some warmth, smoky nuances, some melting, good depth, very good, firm finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2023 bis 2026+. What our ratings mean
