2018 Meersburg Sängerhalde Blaufränkisch trocken "1 Lilie" Alte Reben, Baden, Germany

Somewhat dried-vegetable to herbal scent of cherries and rather dark berries with peppery and floral notes. Tight, tart, relatively cool fruit, noticeable acid bite, slightly smoky-roasty and chocolaty wood flavours, some coffee, pepper and dried-vegetable tones again, good persistence, salt in the background, very good, tight, tart finish with fine juice.
