2019 Beilstein Steinberg Trollinger trocken "Villa Amalie", Württemberg, Germany

Somewhat woody, earthy and a hint of tobacco aroma of predominantly dark berries with dried vegetal traces, a little smoke and bacony nuances. Ripe, quite juicy, partly preserved fruit with clear, bitter-chocolate, toasty and smoky wood spice, relatively present, yet crumbly tannin, certain warmth, good substance, salty hints in the background, still young, lasting, very good finish. Hardly tastes like Trolliger anymore, but it is still excellently made.
