2020 Stetten Stein Silvaner Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm and deep, very delicately smoky, clearly vegetal nose reminiscent of fresh aloe vera with yellow-fruity and still quite clearly yeasty aromas, a hint of mustard seed, chalky mineral tones and fine herbal nuances. Ripe, dense, tangy fruit with clearly vegetal and also herbal aromas, some smoke and hints of mushrooms, yeasty on the palate, tobacco nuances, clear, chalky and stony minerality, persistent, has power, substance and depth, relatively robust style, certain warmth, but also cooling ethereal nuances, very good, firm, grippy finish, on the one hand tart, but also with very delicate sweet elements. Must definitely mature.
