2020 Scheurebe Landwein trocken Alte Reben "Vinz", Main, Germany

Somewhat nutty, planty to dried herbal and hints of bacon aroma of ripe yellow fruits with a little green berries and a touch of butter and dried mushrooms. Clear, quite tightly knit fruit with a delicately sweet melt, a hint of nut butter and some hay, fine, lively acidity, delicate grip and good persistence, a certain depth, hints of lemon verbena and bacon again, chalky and salty minerality, tightens up and becomes more tart with air, slightly yeasty notes on the very good finish.
