2020 VDP.Sekt Brut Nature Pinot Rosé, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, cool, and youthful-looking, relatively deep, floral and yeasty nose with yellow fruity and red berry aromas, along with a hint of yogurt. Cool, herbaceous, juicy, bone-dry fruit with smoky, nutty, and yeasty aromas, somewhat vegetal to herbal on the palate, moderate shell tones, a bit of grip and lively acidity, fine mousse, persistent on the palate, chalky notes in the background, a trace of mushrooms, very good, firmly structured, finely juicy and nutty finish.
