2019 Spätburgunder trocken "Montonia", Franconia/Franken, Germany

A slightly smoky, nutty, dried herbal and hinted mushroomy scent of predominantly black berries with a little cherry, vegetable nuances, hints of soup herbs and a hint of tobacco. Clear, quite juicy fruit with a slightly smoky wood note, crumbly tannin, hints of citrus and pepper, certain substance and persistence, salty minerality in the good to very good finish.
