2018 Blauer Silvaner Landwein "DOWN TO EARTH", Main, Germany

Light ruby. Somewhat nutty and a hint of smoky scent of red and a little black berries with fine vegetal aromas and floral traces. Firmly woven, tangy fruit with nutty, yeasty and slightly tobacco notes, very fine acidity, noticeable grip of ripe tannin, persistent on the palate, medium power, almost a little tar in the background, herbal nuances, chalky-salty minerality, very good, firm, tangy and grippy finish.
