2017 Stetten Stein Silvaner Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Tart nose, vegetal and mineral notes, restrained yellow fruit aromas, touch of sage and fennel, prominent smoky mineral notes. Firmly structured, restrained tart fruit on the palate, elegant acidity, firm, ripe tannins, yeasty traces, light mineral notes in the background, delicate spicy notes, persistent, good depth, virbant, still young, hint of bread, very slightly reminiscent of pesto, firm grip again on a very good, firm, tart, juicy finish. Currently still rather unapprochable, give it some time to mature.,
