Editor note: Tart nose, dried vegetal notes, hint of tobacco, yeasty traces, mineral notes, restrained yellow fruit. Yellow fruit on the palate, nutty and vegetal notes, buttery and peppery traces, earthy and salty mineral notes, sweetish and creamy, floral traces, hint of dark berries, noticeable high alcohol on a good to very good, creamy finish.

One of the eight specific wine growing areas in the Austrian province or generic wine growing area of Lower Austria. It lies to the east of the Wachau. The Kremstal, named after the river, stretches north and south of the Danube and includes the city of Krems, the more eastern areas and the small wine communities south of the Danube.
