2020 Untertürkheim Gips Riesling Grosses Gewächs Monopol, "Marienglas®", Württemberg, Germany

Delicately woody, somewhat smoky and reductive, quite dense, multi-layered and deep aroma of ripe yellow fruit with nutty and yellow-spicy aromas, blackberry nuances and a hint of pepper. Ripe yellow fruit and again some fennel in the mouth, fine acidity, mellow tannin, light nutty tones, certain minerality and herbaceous nuances, lasting, clear minerality in the background, fine grip, a hint of smoke and tobacco, vegetal nuances, very good, firm, juicy, very slightly sweet finish with almost a little peppery spiciness.
