Tart, somewhat meaty-animalic and also reminiscent of root vegetables aroma of predominantly black berries with notes of juniper and laurel. Firmly knit, tart, dark fruit, present, fine sandy tannin and some bite, slightly smoky to toasty wood notes, a hint of pepper, mushrooms and bacon, dry herbs in the background, earthy and mineral tones, still barely developed, salty minerality, very good, tight tart finish with grip and acid bite. Needs time.
