2018 Merlot Reserve trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Clear, polished, restrained nutty and tobaccoy-woody spicy scent of black and a little red berries with dried plant and floral nuances. Tart, juicy, rather dark fruit with a little smoky and sooty wood, crumbly, fine sandy tannin, good persistence, a little salt in the background, earthy and dried vegetable nuances, good to very good, tart, again slightly bitter-sooty finish
