2014 Fellbach Lämmler Lemberger Grosses Gewächs trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Fairly firm, deep nose, peppery traces, hint of tobacco, ripe, predominantly black berries and cherries, hint of root vegetables in the background, some pomegranate, beet root, very moderate oak, earthy traces. Ripe, very juicy dark fruit on the palate, some toasted oak, hint of tobacco, light dried vegetal notes, more beet root, fairly prominent tannins, still youthful, hint of bacon and some dark chocolate, fairly prominent peppery notes, salty mineral notes in the background, firm grip, has some depth, very good juicy finish. Still needs some time to develop.
