Light spicy oak on the nose, hint of ashes, ripe red and a few black berries, nutty, earthy and dried vegetal notes, hint of tobacco. Ripe, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, slightly smoky oak, hint of tobacco, light bite, very fine tannins, persistent, medium body, firm structure, mineral traces in the background, hint of bacon, very good, tart finish.

Editor note: Translate to English Etwas holziger und gewürziger, erdiger und leicht vegetabiler Duft mit Noten von schwarzen und roten Beeren, vor allem Hagebutten, dazu floralen Nuancen, deutlich Kräutern und einer Spur Rauch. Ziemlich herb wirkende, mit Luft zunehmend saftige Frucht mit erdigen und speckig-rauchigen Aromen, deutlich Holz, getrocknet-vegetabilen Tönen und wieder auch welk-floralen Anklängen, gewisse Nachhaltigkeit am Gaumen, leichter Säurebiss, präsentes Tannin, erst ein wenig spröde, mit Luft aber immer charmanter, bitterlich-tabakige Noten, sehr guter, wieder von rauchig-speckigem Holz bestimmter Abgang.
