2021 Eltville Sonnenberg Roter Riesling Spätlese, Rheingau, Germany

Relatively cool, somewhat vegetal to dried herbal, almondy and hints of bacon aroma of yellow fruits with a hint of black berries and nuances reminiscent of fennel and linseed. Youthful, still delicately yeasty fruit with noticeable acidity, light tannic grip, some persistence, hints of candy and peach, chalky-mineral tones, good to very good finish.
