Editor note: Hazy light orange colour. Vegetal and nutty nots on the nose, hint of mushrooms and some cabbage, earthy notes, very restrained hint of yellow fruit. Fairly firm, tart fruit on the palate, nutty, vegetal and light spicy notes, hint of mushrooms, yeasty notes, very elegant acidity, light tannic grip, good persistence, some depth, hint of tobacco, mineral notes in the background, good to very good finish.
Best to drink: 2020-2023+

One of the eight specific wine growing areas in the Austrian province or generic wine growing area of Lower Austria. It was formed in 1985 by merging the formerly independent wine-growing areas of Gumpoldskirchen and Bad Vöslau.
