Light smoky notes on the nose, hint of tobacco, peppery traces, red and a few black berries, some juniper and bay leaf, whiff of pomegranate, mineral traces. Clear, polished, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, nutty oak, touch of cocoa and coffee, fairly open, some apple notes, good substance and persistence, slightly oxidative on a good to very good finish.
