Firm and quite deep, somewhat warm aroma of ripe dark berries and a little cherry with notes reminiscent of rowan berries and juniper, floral nuances, a little Mediterranean herbs and a hint of meat. Tart, taut, juicy fruit with a noticeable acid bite and present tannins that dry slightly with air, dry herbs and some juniper on the palate, smoky and meaty traces, persistent, lots of power and noticeable alcohol, yet also cooling elements, salty and chalky hints in the background, hints of malt, very good, firm, initially somewhat bitter finish, again with bite and relatively fresh juice. Still needs to mature.
